To easy the management of subscriptions and resource groups underneath . YOu

Resources can be moved between resource groups and Resource Groups can be moved between subscription.

Resource Group : Section 2: 6

It is a container where you can put in all the resources. When you destroy a resource group you will be destroying the complete list of resources within that Resource Group .
